ROV technician

As an ROV technician, you’ll participate in various technical and operational tasks. Your workplace is varied: mountain lakes, out at sea, in rivers and tunnels. No job is alike another, and you’ll have a unique opportunity to help shape our ROV and survey services.

  • Operate and maintained a varied fleet of light ROV-systems (incl. Sperre 10K, Sperre 7500, Sperre 3K, Argus Rover and SeaEye Falcon)
  • Contribute to work on proprietary designed ROV-system for tunnels, developed with battery power and ultra long range
  • Test, operate and maintain unmanned surface vessel (USV)

Our largest ROV-divisions are located in Stavanger, Tofte and Stryn, but as our new ROV technician you should expect extensive travel. Because of this, we welcome applications from all over the country.

Desired qualifications and skills

  • Certificate of apprenticeship as FU-operator / electrician / instrument technician / avionics mechanic/ low current electrician or comparable
  • Relevant ROV experience can compensate for missing apprenticeship certificate.
  • Must be comfortable with extensive travel
  • Communicates well both orally and in writing, Norwegian and English.
  • Driven and proactive
